Everyone is completely full of shite on this one. Jefferson was definitely booed hard.
Obviously Miles and Crowton were booed, but don't act like our fanbase isn't full of a bunch of jackasses.
I just wonder if Lee is any fricking good to begin with. All his game auditions in the past have pointed to the fact he isn't good and is nothing but a back up. Now maybe he is decent, but the coaches might have a better understanding and might believe we are stupid for screaming for Lee to come into the game. There isn't necessarily a reason for optimism as the only reason to want Lee is to just a want Hope & Change. We know where that could get us also.
I have no problem with them mixing JL into the game if the coaches actually believe in it.
We really don't have just a Jefferson problem, but a whole offense problem.
There could be better playcalling.
The WR could actually be a lot better.
We had several dumb penalties on the OL and they missed several blocking assignments.
Jefferson could have played much better.
The only thing that solid was the running game.
Also yall are fricking morons if yall don't think he knows we have a problem on offense. He admitted it after the game to the sideline supporter.

Fans are NOT booing the Players, or Defense Coaches...

I agree with him, so rather than boo I will not spend my money on tickets, shirts, or jackets till this problem is cleared up.
This is the only thing that could fix the problem. If you had enough people that would spend a dime at 1 game, that would force lsu's hands. They would then pressure Miles to make changes.

Ya'll can all act like you were booing the coaches, but lets not kid ourselves. I was there. The crowd booed when we had to punt when Jefferson couldn't get it done. They put Lee in, the crowd goes wild. The offense goes 3 and out with him. No booing. They put Jefferson back in, they boo. Now I'm all for putting Lee in, and I didn't boo, but it was pretty clear who everyone was booing.

these kids arent stupid...after whats happened the last three years, they know who the booing is directed at. and as far as people booing jj, did you ever think that they were booing the coaches that kept him in the game instead of taking him out and putting lee in? miles and crowton are as dumb as dirt. now he's opening his mouth about the fans....well les...go ask smoke laval or john brady what happens when you turn the fans against you...

I agree with him about not booing, but he should really either take responsibility for it or not comment at all. Yes, booing at that point when JJ came back i nthe game is not really the right way to get your point across, it ends up directed at JJ and not the guy who actually sent him in... but these comments show tell me he is either to blind to see it is him, or unwilling to accept it. Niether of those choices is acceptable to the fans.

I agree 100%...more than half our stalled drives were the results of an OVERALL shitty offense and not Jefferson. If toliver wants to throw f-bombs all over the sideline maybe he should learn how to catch a freaking 5 yard slant first.

You obviously weren't at the game last night. The loudest boos of the game came when Jefferson made two errand passes high school qbs can throw with ease.

of course he knows we have a problem on offense, but what is he planning on doing about it?

I don't like booing and would never do it myself, but I can understand why some are doing it now. LSU football is deeply serious to most of us - all we want is a team that plays tough and plays to it's potential. That's it in a nutshell. Right now we have a championship caliber football team in all aspects except one. That one weakness is glaring and seems to regress with each game. All we want is to just try something different... anything different. The booers are just deeply frustrated that Miles does not seem to understand this one simple thing.
I believe that most of the players understand why the boos are happening and are not taking it personally (well, maybe one is). I think they are just as frustrated as we are and want some kind of change too. Maybe the boos are just what Coach Miles' needs to light a fire under his arse. Come on Coach, don't be so damn hard headed - PLEASE!

Les is going to turn the fans on him...
That has already happened. I don't blame him for calling out the fans, but he has made it what it is. JJ is done, and if Lee can't take over we are in huge trouble theya are not many wins left.

Were the fans booing the players, or the coaches and their decisions?
Booing players is WRONG. Coaches OTOH, are fair game. They get paid handsomely and it goes with the territory. Players don't get paid, and are doing their level best to pull the line to the best of their abilities and not let their teammates down.
Players are still KIDS. Coaches know better and are adults. There's a huge difference, and if there's some ambiguity, then it needs to stop immediately.

I understand his point but he has to understand the immense disappointment.
You kidding...right?
Immense disappointment when you win against a 3-0, NR team?
Immense diappointed when your team goes to 4-0 and Top 10, or close to it, NR?
Immense disappointment when your team has gone 13-3 in their last 16 regular seasom games?
Booing a winning, 4-0, and NR team is BS and low class behavior that does not speak well for us.

I always get a kick out of the ignorant "we're booing the coaches not the player" argument, as if the player can tell the difference that the loud arse booing he hears immediately after he makes a bad play is directed at the coach and not him. And even if they could tell the difference, please tell me how this makes it any better. "It's ok Jefferson, we're not booing you we're just booing the decision to put you on the field. See, it isn't a knock on you".
Don't get me wrong, I think our offense is terrible and our QB play is terrible. But I would never consider booing and you are a complete jackass if you do/did.
Edit: If you want to boo Miles, fine. Go to his radio show, or where ever he may be making a public appearance, and do it. That way there is no confusion as to where it is directed.

I agree. You can't target a boo. There are no laser sights on a boo. You're booing the entire team.

He goes to the coffee pot and complains about the coffee and he didn't make it. He goes home and he sees his wife and you know what, she's not dressed very nice. And you know what? He goes to bed early because he doesn't want to talk to her. And frankly she doesn't want to talk to him. And it's just a fact."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you take Miles coffee analogy one step further, yeah the guy didn't make the coffee but he paid for the coffee and hired someone else to make it. The guy he hired to make it(that would by Miles)is doing a crappy job so he gets called down for it. In this case, the ways the fans chose to call Miles down on the crappy job he has been doing is by booing. A significant number of fans obviously feel that booing is the only way to get Miles attention on this issue.
Based on his quote, the booing did effectively get Miles attention but I don't believe it will motivate him to make a change...
