quote:Such a strawman argument! Maybe it's because Harris was a bigger recruit and hand selected by Cam, not to mention having a better arm and better feet by anyone's estimation. Oh, he also, practiced with the George Whitfield this past summer, y'know the guy that was training a Heisman winner the year before. And then that game we just played 5 days ago where he played, not only better than AJ, but better than any game AJ has played in.
Until he makes one bad decision and everyone here will be clamouring for Bergeron to be the starter.
But, yeah, we only want him cuz he's the back-up. Were you booing Rohan Davey against Tennessee in 2000?

Miles is officially an idiot.
No, the idiots are the ones who actually though Harris would get the start.

Ease Harris in there. Are you willing to give up on the season already?
If it was Auburn week I'd agree with you but it's not. This is the week to "ease" Harris in.

Not the season or the team, just losing my Miles Maniac.
Look at other teams using freshman qbs and what they are doing and I seriously wonder watching what Harris does, if we would be much better off with him running the show from the get go.

With the TE's being no threat in the passing game.

this is the PERFECT game to start harris and allow him to go through the starter reps at practice. although i'm still not convinced jennings is healthy enough to play. anyone seen him on campus?

he just doesn't have it between the ears and he's been in the system since january 2013.
Goddamn, you're a moron. So you, a retarded fatass fan sitting at home watching with your "I'm with stupid" shirt on drinking Nattie Lights, can tell that Jennings doesn't have "it" between the ears from 5 career starts?
Some of the shite you people say is hysterical.

FWIW I think it would be better to keep the second string in and let them fight through it in gimme games. The point was more about how while Miles has a serious problem with misuse of shite games he isn't the only one.

Harris come in and get meaningful snaps against NMST
Not gonna happen. He will get mop up duty.
I remember in 2011, Mile skept saying JL would get more snaps and he played exactly ZERO in the SECCG and BCSCG

You guys need to get off this argument Jennings got hurt and couldn't get back into the game.

did you expect Harris to start
Yes
If this is true...then you either are a dummy or haven't watched a Les Miles coached team in years.
Also, if you think changing QBs will magically fix what happened last Saturday then you are again mistaken. We need to start with the middle of the defense. We have to fix that first...second would be offensive scheme. Maybe we could look at QB third although I'd say third could potentially be DE.

weekly coaches shows like tonight. I hope some pissed off people show up, but I don't think people care as much anymore.
If you think that any college football coach in America cares about what a plant operator says that called into a two-bit radio show like Ott's, you are oblivious. You can't be a coach and be concerned about this.

Bama didn't allow many snaps for Sims either. It's really not uncommon.
Before this year, Sims had only thrown around 25-30 passes in 3 years. Had Aaron Murray not gotten hurt at the end of the year, Hutson Mason would have not thrown a pass before this year. The SC and Missouri quarterbacks only had experience because the starters where hurt.
We hear this every year about how Miles refuses to give the young QB's "experience", but when you look at the numbers nobody else in the SEC is taking experienced, well playing QB's off the field just so the young guy has reps.
