So even though most of you tards have already decided after 5 career starts that Jennings has hit his ceiling and isn't going to be any better
Not saying his ceiling has been hit, but he hasn't gotten any better in those 5 starts. Harris came in against the toughest competition of the year, and made some great throws. All I would like to see is equal time this weekend with the full playbook to see who is executing the actual O better. Roll into Auburn with that guy. Jennings has done nothing to cement himself as the starter in 5 games.

I sure hope we're not reading about him transferring in a couple years if he's getting fed up with Miles already.

It's kind of amazing to see the difference in feelings toward Les Miles after the loss to State. People usually got scolded for criticizing Les prior to the loss. It feels very different now.
Who starts at QB probably doesn't matter as much as pulling the starter when it just ain't clicking on offense and we're getting throttled. Against good teams, we usually just have the QB hand off or run for the first three plays anyway. With that said, if he's going to say that there is little separation between the two, then he shouldn't hesitate to put the backup in to see if he can get something going when the starter is having an off game.

I don't expect anything to change. miles is too stubborn. the writing is on the wall though.
SEC back to back road games in stadiums that LSU hasn't had much success in.

I agree 100%.
Most of the other pussies are going ape shite and they don't know what the playing time split will look like.
The Score Board will blow up on Saturday night when Jennings plays the entire first quarter.
I also laugh at the people that have decided that Jennings has plateaued.

Not going to read through 10 pages to see if anyone has said it but heres how I see it.
The only reason Harris got into the game is because Jennings got hurt. Otherwise, late game heroics by Harris would never have happened. Les gets no credit for the work that Harris put in at the end of the State game because he was committed to Jennings if healthy. I swear he doesnt know what the hell he is doing.
Somehow, it makes perfect sense to Les to start Jennings. This is the re-birth of JJ JL debacle.

This is exactly what will happen if he feels he's not getting a fair shot.

What do you want me to put a number on? The number of snaps
More like a percentage of total snaps.

I mean he played most of the second half against Sam Houston State and played a series in the second quarter. I would consider that to be pretty good amount of playing time and if it is another good showing for Harris, it could begin to make them think about making the switch in QBs.
But in terms of doing what it is QB's are asked to do that enable offense to actually move forward, he did very little. On the season, how many balls has Harris thrown not counting last week when LSU was in desperation mode?
There are some of us...and I know this is hard to believe...that are actually rational actors who are simply concerned that after 5 full games we have seen the possible ceiling of what Jennings can do in the offense. That's not to say that he can;t be better at it and sharpen...but the question is do we REALLY see the complete offense given what appears to be limiting factors for AJ?
If...let me repeat that...IF Jennings has a ceiling that limits him and prevents the LSU offense from using everything at its disposal, then MAYBE it's worth a REAL SHOT at taking a meaningful look at whatever alternatives we have left. Keep in mind...for better or worse, who we have this year is almost with 100% certainty who we are gonna roll with in 2015.
If it were me...and it clearly isn't...I'd go with Harris for this Saturday and get a REAL assessment on what he looks like as your starter. Compare it to Jennings' play against SHS and ULM...and make a decision about AU afterwards.

2QB system OP. He needs to grow a pair and start the better players.

probably a bit immature but he's outperformed Jennings going back to last spring and then showed flashes of what he's capable of last week.....yet they still insist on rolling with the guy who continues to show just how limited he is. I get his frustration

At least both players are same color.
Keep race baiters on the board in the closet.

So, someone else should have started in 2012 and 2013?

Now if they don't both see a significant amount of playing time, I would say people have a reason to complain.
These are the same people saying we would unveil the "secret playbook" against MSU and our D was as good as '11 before last Saturday. They simply don't want to see the writing on the wall... another blowout loss vs. Auburn.
