miles put harris in the game saturday down 21 points to show the fans that he was right in starting jennings to get them off his back.

he didn't expect harris to throw two TD's in 38 seconds and almost a 3rd.

Ya you are completely wrong here. Jennings got hurt from that huge hit he took on that sack and he couldn't go back in.

You really overestimate the importance of message boards to coaches.

Yep, the innovative coaches don't dial it back. Kelly used the blow outs correctly and he got consistent results. Johnson did the same thing back in the day with U.

Saban does it with his defenses.

Saturday is going to be very predictable and boring play calling. The thing is it will work, Dural will blow by his guy by 30 yards and catch a couple of bombs. We might even cover the spread with our powerI and big sets. The problem comes when we roll onto the plains and auburn isn't letting dural run wide open and their dline actually applies pressure.

Oh, I agree. but what i'm saying is i'm sure miles was thinking the same thing.

bottom line is harris made miles decision to start jordan jennings look foolish

miles is extremely short sighted when it comes to QB's. why didn't jennings play more last year during blowouts?

Wow. So even though most of you tards have already decided after 5 career starts that Jennings has hit his ceiling and isn't going to be any better, you think throwing 5 passes against Furman and 3 passes against UAB last year would have turned him into Mettenberger 2.0?

I'm going to wait and see how much (and of what quality) time Harris gets before I jump Les's shite for this.

That said, he definitely has the whole "being a State of Louisiana employee" thing down to a science

this!! Come on, isn't this the best O-line we've ever had.. They should be able to block the 9 guys in the box.. Esp if we give them two tight ends to help..

weekly coaches shows like tonight. I hope some pissed off people show up, but I don't think people care as much anymore.

Just to get a number, what would you consider a significant amount, and do you think he'll get it?

What do you want me to put a number on? The number of snaps?

I mean he played most of the second half against Sam Houston State and played a series in the second quarter. I would consider that to be pretty good amount of playing time and if it is another good showing for Harris, it could begin to make them think about making the switch in QBs.

I lol when Miles said he was going to insert Harris anyhow injury or not. 2 minutes to go down 3 scores and you folks claim you would not want to throw Harris to the wolves.

You're, once again, being unfair to Miles here. There's a meltdown on here every time Miles puts the first-string defense back in to preserve a shutout.

giving up the season will be starting jennings against more SEC teams... I don't want to be doom and gloom, but jennings is BAD
