Milam says working with his dad for 5 or 6 days got his swing back

I’ll always cherish the times I spent with my dad playing ball out in the yard when I was a kid.

You can’t hit when you’re uncomfortable. Milam had obviously gotten into his own head.

Getting some time with his dad in a familiar setting put his mind at ease and got him back to who he is.

It’s not unheard of.

Well there’s your problem

I don't see how this is a bad thing either. Sometimes your dad just knows your swing better than anyone else. They've seen you hit more balls than anyone else. It's not an indictment on the staff like some want to think.

Nobody knows his swing probably better than his dad. He has seen it more than anyone else. What it comes down to is extra practice and getting more comfortable.
