I think we've finally figured out that putting the tiger in a small rolling cage and driving him around the stadium with the cheerleaders standing on top of the cage and tens of thousands of people screaming at him is kind of cruel to the tiger. He shouldn't go to the games.

What we could do, however, is put him in the rolling cage and park it safely in the hallway where the other team comes out, like they used to do.

Won't be happening any longer, LSU decided to be PC and submit to PETA demands.

quote:

For LSU's part, they have publicly stated that they will pursue the (PETA) accreditation. In keeping with the progressive stance, the university says Mike is no longer driven out onto the field in a cage during home football games

Yes, he's gonna Skype in though the video board towards the end of the 4th quarter so make sure you don't leave early.

Not saying they should do it, but I liked Memphis Tigers cage, they had him a soundproof rolling cage that he chilled in during games. Was pretty cool

My bad. guys I'm actually in Rockport Texas with limited everything. So I didn't know if they were going to try and get him to the game or not. My son was going to go to the game and was wondering.

In a new tradition started this year Mike will no longer be brought out to the stadium in a cage. Instead anyone who asks if he will be brought out/and or/ complains about him not being brought out will get field passes. Mike will not be fed for three days leading up the game and all the people mentioned before will be allowed to pet Mike cageless on the field before the game.
