If a few people can control a mascot on a leash...just how "bad" is the mascot?

Yes it did. He was on a leash and he was momentarily let out of the cage, he reared up at the crowd and jumped around a few times and they let him back in. It was wild
Yea there's no fricking way this happened in 02. I'll eat crow and buy beers if you find video.

Exactly, and this beast has been trained somewhat.
Tigers can be trained to do tricks and whatnot.

Not sure if your seats were in the upper deck (causing distant vision), but they use to show him something while he was in his cage and he would roar over the Mic system. But he never exited the cage on a leash.

They had a real young tiger cub on the sidelines on a leash one time, but never full grown Mike!

I smell:
Spread the love
Something besides the SEC
Chris Fowler a CU grad
In other words, BS.
Mike is clearly the coolest and most badarse.

I opened this thread ready to be pissed at #1 but that buffalo running across the field like a bat out of hell is pretty damn cool. I'll allow it... but Mike would still eat her.

Mike is the most badass, but if he's going to finish 2nd in a poll to any mascot, Ralphie is the most worthy.
Her charge onto the field with the team running behind is one of the best spectacles in college football IMO.

Why can't we have Mike's roar recorded and played after every score? If the Gamecocks can cackle their Cock, surely we could roar our Tiger.

Dude that didn't happen at all. Yo arse was high.

And who the frick wants to look at a Buffalo? No one is crowding around to look at a hairy overgrown cow. A 450 pound Bengal tiger? That's a bit more pleasing to the eye.

About as plausible as a red elephant running on the field.

You might have remembered a fan who brought his own juvenile tiger on a leash. But it was outside the stadium. I do remember thinking that was crazy dangerous.

Well if our decision makers hadn’t been infiltrated by pussies and Mike still came to the stadium he’d be #1

This was on the field before the game.
