How sweet would it be to see the best fans in college baseball give Mike Martin a victory lap next weekend at The Box? Would be a hell of a way to send 11 out. He deserves something like that.

Steve Spurrier coached his last college game in Tiger Stadium. Sounds fitting.

I'm not opposed to a Mike Martin chant in the 9th inning of the series clincher as we get ready to send our guys off to Omaha.

USC did not make the tournament this year. I know this is an LSU site, but there was college baseball before 1991.

He's brought a team to Baton Rouge one time. FSU beat LSU twice at the old Alex Box in 1983, Jack Lamabe's last season as coach and the year before Skip came in.

No he didn’t. He played LSU In tiger stadium the year they moved the game from South Carolina due to flooding. He then quit the following week. So the last game he coached in college was in tiger stadium

Would be nice if we made this year his first to not get to 40 wins too.
