Let's hire one of Bertman's fmr NC championship players/assistant coaches and give him a shot.

Bianco was a catcher on Bertman’s LSU teams in 1988 and ’89, was the pitching coach on Bertman’s teams from 1993-97

Feel free to list any other potential candidates fellows.

I understand but Ole Miss isn't LSU. Just thinking a former player or assistant with Bertman might make a difference. Absent Smoke Laval though.

This is a weird way to say you don't want Drew on the team.

The final week of the regular season Ole Miss fans were wanting to fire him and posters here were starting “where are the Mike Bianco supporters now” threads.

Ben McDonald, Warren Morris, etc. Maybe there is a fmr player under Bertman that played in the big leagues that is qualified to be a head coach. Maybe Andy Canizaro? LSU doesn't have to hire a Saint just a qualified NEW head baseball coach

I love it when posters want to replace Mainieri with a coach that literally has one win in Omaha.

Well ANYBODY but PM will suit just fine. Can't do any worse than not getting to Omaha 2 years in a row.
