Damn you people are so caught up with 13-0 vs 12-1 that you can’t see how those numbers got to where they are and then correlate that to what the team is doing right now today…..I know it’s hard but keep trying.

You are literally explaining what you are doing and projecting it on others. This is just pathetic.

Bama lost at home by double digit to a one loss team. UT lost at a neutral site by 4 to a 2-loss team. Neither was a better loss.

That's why the head to head is the obvious tie breaker

3 undefeated p5 champs and then the team that beat bama h2h by multiple scores at their place. that's the best win. that's better than bama's win today. period.
I can't believe so many people do t see how easy this is.

FSU or Texas would both be getting completely shafted if bama gets in over them

Unless you are either a Bama fan or for some reason measure your worth by the SEC being in the playoffs.

Not admitting that losing to Texas is a way better loss than losing to OU is just simply being obtuse and disingenuous.

It’s being explained to you like you’re five.

Not our fault that you don’t understand it.

Clearly you are right about Texas, it’s just fun to argue that point BUT FSU without Travis is owed nothing.

Losing at home by double digits (10 + 3 for home field advantage) at home is objectively worse then a 4 point loss at a neutral site. OU having one more loss doesn’t mean shite.

Exactly.

The committee would catch all sorts of crap for it.

When you adjust for margin of loss and the venues it's about a wash really

You realize the SEC splits bowl money and the SEC not having a playoff team costs LSU a ton of money right?

Can y’all just admit than any of the other 4 teams would smoke FSU with their 3rd string freshman QB???
I guess I just don't think bama is the juggernaut you think they are.

FSU defense is pretty salty, and bamas offense is meh.

And yes, regular season record matters substantially.

Hell just look at current rankings. FSU has done nothing to let go of their #3 ranking.

You could make the case that bama jumped Texas today, but there's that pesky H2H game in Tuscaloosa

Fair enough.

But you’ll agree that you can’t keep any undefeated team out, yes?

Regardless of your personal opinion, they’re undefeated.

The next in line is a team that beat the SEC champs.

It’s not hard.

Maybe a little but I still think that their loss to OU is so much worse than Bama’s lose to them.

I just think that’s a pretty flimsy limb to stand out on and put Bama in over them.

I don’t think the SEC or LSU is going to be hurting for money any time soon.

Good to see someone admit the argument for Alabama has nothing to do with on the field results though.

I think they put the “deserving” 4 in Michigan, Texas, Washington, and FSU. It ends up Texas beating Michigan and we have to listen to the worst fanbase in the world gloat as they come into the SEC.
