We’ve won games against bigger spreads. Of course that was when Wade was coaching....

Yeah I'll be taking us +6 or whatever it is.

Also doing a money line- after watching Mich. State lack of height inside, Maryland was taller.

What is the first half line...that is the only one I would be comfortable betting.

We should be worried about beating the Spartans, not the spread.

Good. We were underdogs against Kentucky and Tennessee and how'd that work out? This team plays with a bigger chip on their shoulder when they're dogs.

We match up well against Michigan State. We are bigger in the middle. And very good against man defenses. I don’t believe they have played very much zone this season.

They haven’t, but the problem is we are going against Izzo without Wade. If there’s one guy that can implement an effective defense this time of year, it is Izzo.

With Wade, I’d be confident in our ability to counter. Without him, I’m concerned.

Why? We aren’t out there playing the game

Look relax, I'm about to hit the gym and get up as many shots as I can this afternoon and the rest of the week. Also working on my defensive footwork.

Be careful with that line of thought. MSU has played more zone this year than Maryland has, and they us 10 pounds of shite in a 5 pound bag during the second half.

Did anyone jump on that Maryland -7 halftime line?

Link?

Not saying you're wrong, but someone posted yesterday that MSU has only played zone on 6 possessions all season (he listed the possessions).

You can't both be right. I'm just trying to get to the bottom of it.

You think Wade isn’t coaching? Wouldn’t be surprised if these guys aren’t getting “helpful texts” throughout the tournament.

LSU is 6-2 straight-up as a dog this year.

Two losses came against FSU and Houston.

Sparty has a limited bench with some injuries. If LSU plays fast that could play a huge factor.

Only concern, Mich St is a strong 2nd half team and LSU...well you know the game script

If we can defend the 3 better, we can match up fine with MSU. They hit the 3 at about a 40% rate though, so we need to be consistent all game with not leaving guys wide open on the outside. They also turn the ball over a lot at times, so if we push it we can have a big advantage there with Waters and how we play D. It should be a great matchup.

I've also been watching film on Michigan State. I got the Big 10 (B1G) Network with the Longhorn Network- sports package I got for the Texas baseball Series. If we lose, it won't be because of my lack of preparation.

Defending Cassius from the 3 will be huge, when he heats up they typically roll
