Washington has a cupcake schedule, wasnt impressed with them against the ducks. FSU isn't better than the 4 above teams either.

I know it won't happen but

Bama
Wolverines
UGA
Horns

Are the best 4 teams this year hands down.

All of this crying is about the SEC potentially being left out for the first time ever.

Who cares?

We wasted three months of everyone’s time and should have just skipped straight to the playoff based on who ever someone thought was best. No need to actually play any games or consider their results.

There is no way to prove best teams. It's silly. Before Oregon played Washington a 2nd time everybody thought Oregon was a better team.

Also, wouldn't Georgia be considered a best 4 team?

Why no Georgia then? You telling me there are 4 more teams "better" than Georgia?

It has to be 3 undefeated p5 champs and then the 1 p5 champ who destroyed the 1 loss SEC champ h2h at their place. Simple.

There’s no way for you to determine that Bama and UGA are better than Washington or Texas. That’s all subjective bullshite. In fact, Texas beat Bama head to head by multiple touchdown.

Michigan, Texas, Washington, and Florida State will be the teams if the CFP committee does the right things. Anything else would be a travesty for college football.

You can’t just subjectively put teams in that you like and ignore the on-field results from the season.

This is the main point that a lot of people are overlooking.

If the committee were to put Bama in over Texas in the 4th spot, they would completely nullify all regular season games from this point forward. It would ruin the regular season entirely.

They simply cant do that. To me this is one of the easiest seasons to pick the top 4. You have 3 undefeated P5 CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS. They are in. Then the last spot is between two one loss conference champions, Texas and Bama. And frick me to tears, wouldn't you know, they already played. Its handed to the committee on a sliver platter. No explanations necessary.

1) Michigan
2) Washington
3) FSU
4) Texas

It really is that simple.

Interesting, if the final 4 are UA, UT, UM and UW, then Texas can thank UA for getting in, because if UGa holds serve, the committee almost certainly would go with the 4 undefeated teams.

Because they feel Alabama is deserving for having ended UGa's streak, they feel obligated to include Texas, hence, FSU is left out.

This system was designed for the four best résumé’s. Not the four BEST teams.

Florida State's defense is the best in the country (Michigan close second) right now. They held maybe the best offense ever to 24 points. Alabama lost to a Big 12 team at home by 10.

If anything, Washington needs to be left out, not Florida St.

I would add FSU, but I agree that those are the top five.

You also can't deny a team based off of a single early season game. Who's playing their best football right now out of that group?

Who would you pick in a rematch between Alabama and Texas next weekend, much less a month to prepare?

When is the stupid fricking selection show so we can be done with this bullshite?

Bama is not and can not get in.
This bullshite about "best team", which they are not, is so dumb.

No SEC team earned a playoff spot and good. If it is not LSU, then frick the SEC

They should only need 5 minutes to confirm the seeding for Michigan, Washington, Texas, and FSU

College football is down this year. SEC is down. I can't tell you who the number 1 football team but I can tell you who the number 1 player is.

LOL

Michigan sucks! McCarthy ain't it. You going off media hype. Washington would beat Michigan. Have you really watched the B1G teams this year? None, and I mean NONE have any offense. Their teams look like defensive juggernauts because NOBODY can score. They all run the ball. Did you see how bad Iowa was?

Did you see how bad L'ville was last night? The ACC isn't that great either. The only competitive games were SEC and Pac 12 conference games. That should tell you all you need to know. Fans that didn't really watch games outside the SEC were left wondering how the hell Iowa and L'ville were even playing for a conference title.
