Mr Gibbs and Gibbs,

I big thank you from my family to yours. Your son and his teammates brought so much joy to my family. My wife and are LSU grads and therefore our kids bleed purple and gold. We had the pleasure of being in Omaha last year. We live in Texas so it was extra sweet to beat the Horns. We are also Cubs fans and spent some time at Wrigley last summer. We are looking forward to a return trip when Micah makes it to the big leagues.

P.S. I was watching my son run the bases after a Sunday game and overheard Micah telling someone he was going to take an ice bath at the football operations center. Your son gave everything he had every game and that comment really hit home for me. Thanks for the blood, sweat and tears he gave for LSU.

BOOOOOOOOM shakalaka!!!!

Apprecated watching your son develop into an all-time Tiger favorite these past three years. Quality of character is a hallmark of LSU baseball and Micah contributed greatly to that legacy.

Micah Micah's Dad

Thank you and your son for everything ya'll have done for LSU. Being a Cubs fan I get to continue rooting for him at the next level. Micah is a class act and one of the greatest LSU players to put on the uniform. Thanks

Wow! What an awesome post. It's great to see another person succumb to the LSU flu bug! I got bitten by it my Freshman year and the first time I was engulfed in Death Valley. The flu continued that winter as I entered the PMAC for the first time...and later that spring as I sauntered up to the old Alex Box. It will stay with you forever.

I moved to Michigan from BR about 10 years ago. Yesterday, I was driving home from N. Michigan to SW Michigan and passed a semi loaded with military humvees and my eye caught an LSU magnet on the side of the truck as I zoomed by. I immediately honked, slowed down to match his pace....whipped my LSU hat off and tilted it so the driver could see it. I got a big blast from his horn...and showed off my LSU plates as I whipped passed him. My niece responded, "You LSU people are nuts!" We sure are!!!! GEAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUX....TIGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

Congrats to Micah! My brother lives in Chi-town and has partial season tickets. My family and I will go to see Micah play in Wrigley some day soon! We already enjoy watching the Tigah cubs play there every year.

Good luck and God Bless.

Congrats to Micah joining my favorite MLB team!

However, I have really enjoyed watching him grow over the last three years. He is a hell of a baseball player and I know he will represent LSU very well like so many are doing right now in the MLB.

I am glad you (Ben) were converted as well. Its easy to do when you come here. I recommend coming to more football games though!!

That post was great! Congrats to Micah! My husband and I are huge LSU baseball fans and have loved Micah since his freshman year. Now even my 2 year old daughter cheers for Micah everytime she watches baseball. She still doesn't understand that Micah doesn't play for every team. She stands up with her hands in the air and yells GEAUX MICAH!

I hope one day we will be able to go to Chicago to watch Micah play.

Ben,
You have raised a great kid. He is a great role model both on and off the field. I know you must be proud.

It was a honor to have your son choose to play baseball for my school. Micah is a great athelete, but I have heard from LSU students that he is a better person. I look forward to seeing Micah in the bigs and will always be a fan.

Congratulations for raising a fine young man we are all proud of. Once a tiger, always a tiger.

GEAUX Micah!

Great to hear this about one of my favorite players the last few seasons. Makes a trip to Wrigley Field in the future a must on the bucket list.

Thanks for the Great post and the memories that Micah helped provide. My 6 year old son absolutely loves Micah and is so excited for him and his pursuit of his major league career. It sure makes it great for him to have role models like Micah to look up too and helps me remind him of the type of class that he has to show in his little league games as well. Good luck to him in the future and look forward to watching him on WGN real soon.
