JR had zero touch

every throw was a rifle into the ground on the side of the WR so they had to make a sliding catch instead of running after the catch

Russel was the king of throwing rockets so hard on 5 yard dump off passes that it knocked the RBs down or caused them to duck in fear of their lives.

Dwayne Bowe was the only one who could hold on to the ball.

Cutler could run pretty damn well on college for a pro-style guy and he had to a whole lot.

Mett is a more mobile Ryan Mallet. I agree with the Tom Brady physical spec comparison. We can only dream he would come close to that in production on the field.

Mett is getting his confidence and has looked all-conference these last two weeks. If he keeps this up he will be drafted VERY high. His arm strength and size cannot be taught.

WHAT?!?!?

Craig Buster Davis had the best hands on that team HANDS DOWN.

He wasn't the physical specimen Bowe was so his pro career never blossomed, but that kid could catch anything.

Lafell was no slouch either.

If we didn't have those 3 dudes catching his passes there would've been 5x as many drops.

Bowe couldn't catch shite until LASIK surgery before his last year at Baton Rouge.

He was too busy getting raped by Auburn's DBs and the officials.

But seriously, what a nasty receiving core. Buster Davis had the best hands though. He held onto the ball over the middle after a big hit almost every game it felt like.

Yeah, he had the drops BAD until he got his eyes fixed.

Todays WRs would make JR look worse than Mett and the '06 WRs would make Mett look better than JR.

you thought wrong. Buster caught everything. Early and Bowe seemed to make big plays more though.

I can see Mett continuing to improve next year and becoming a hot commodity.
