Mett has zero mobility and Cutler is much more athletic.

Big Ben; Mett needs to study him if not being done for foot movement, pocket awareness and holding secondary. Looks like he has started small steps but upside IF he keeps his head on straight is as good as Ben. IMHO

Mett Is now playing Like we knew he could it took him time to adjust and he and the rec. core to get it together. But for the life of me after his two very good games i cannot understand why ranters continue to critisize him.

YES HE IS GOING TO PLAY IN THE NFL AND HAVE A LONG AND SUCCESSFUL CAREER. As he's playing now
he is the best QB ever to play at LSU and I look farward to him having a great year next year the best year an LSU QB has ever had. Hes much better then Jamarcus Russel .

These are the same ranters saying M&M will not go high in the first round(except thats what all the pro scouts are saying).

Or that Reid will not go in the first round,(Oh but the pro scouts rank him the #1 FS in the draft).

I dont know which dwayne bowe you watched at LSU but he dropped a ton of passes and got eye surgery or something his senior yr and managed to have a productive yr but for the most part he struggled catching passes too.

Damn...you beat me to it...you are right. He has similar qualities as the Rustin Rifle from the early 70's. Tall in the pocket, a cannon for an arm, and a swagger.

I always thought of Kerry Collins.

Both are 6-5 pocket passers, both have a funny delivery, & strong arm/zip. Both have underwhelming mobility. Both slump their shoulders inwards/have bad posture.

It's not a perfect comparison, but to me, its the closest. Mett seems a bit more knock-knee'd than Collins and a wider stance when throwing. Collins held the ball upright/closer to his chest when dropping back, whereas Mett holds the ball angled slightly away from his body/chest.

JR had zero touch every throw was a rifle into the ground on the side of the WR so they had to make a sliding catch instead of running after the catch

You try to hard

6,625 yds and 52 tds. 8 4th quarter comebacks. The guys was a fricking beast of a qb.

Mett is no where near Jamarcus at this point.

JR will never get the credit he deserves. Ever. The dude had over 70% completions and his TD to INT ratio was ridiculous.
