Not sure if I want to hear it. Will save for later.

Cliff notes: Mett reads the rant.

Forced throws, was impatient, didn't check down like he should. He also said he was not hurting at all. He was 100% and has been all year.

Wonder if there is any underlying meaning behind referencing wr's needing to run their routes...noticed him having an intense converssation with Beckham after one int in particular...

Mett definitely deserves blame for the int's regardless but am i the only one that thinks Beckham is a glory hound?

How do you get beckham is a glory hound? I would think it would be reverse with Mett thinking he could complete passes into double coverage on multiple ocassions.

He doesn't answer to me. I don't need to hear it. I hope he kicks arse the rest of the season. I'm definitely a Mett fan.

Agree OB is a glory hound. I was hoping him fumbling punts when he should be fair catching them would settle him down. He hasn't been as bad lately but games 3 through 5 he looking for stats. Also,
I still don't understand returning kickoffs 6 or 7 yards deep in the end zone.... Against the better competition this has not worked out for us.

This! Now, Beckham could have played some defense on those balls, like I saw Landry do, but the read was terrible, and that was on Mett. Florida was counting on him to do the same, but LSU's plan was just better. Ole Miss needed the turnovers, and for Mett to try to force it... Live and learn..

Don't think I would call OBJ a "glory hound." Being a good return man requires confidence and a sense of dare. Just needs to temper it with better judgment at times.

Padding his All Purpose Yardage totals. If he returns five to the twenty, one hundred yards added.

Agree. OBJ could have made an effort to defend the second interception. The caliber of athlete he is should be making a defensive play on that ball.

Mett forced those passes because he has been able to get away with it all year. Both Beckham and Landry have made some incredible catches with db's draped all over them. Problem was they were fly patterns and the passes were too long on two of them at least making it impossible for ODB to get up and make a catch or a defensive play.

Two of them never got to him and the other was over his head.

On one of his Ints, the play they ran resulted in a TD in a previous game, Auburn if I'm not mistaken. Landry was running a crossing pattern underneath through zone coverage, and was clearing but Mett threw deep.

Also this season he has been under throwing the deep ball. Last season he was overthrowing. That's something he will need to continue to work on at the next level.

He needs to find himself a 3rd and 4th option. Juice and OBj are studs, but if a team can cover those 2 Mett looks lost. I'm sure this will be worked on in the Furman game.
