I see ol irish thug showed up to bash Lee some more... Mett looks good but IDGAF. You can't sit Lee for Mett when lee missed ONE frickING PASS TONIGHT. Yes we look set at QB for awhile, but until Lee is UNABLE to get it done, he SHOULD and WILL be the starter. Y'all can hate all you want but so far this season Lee has done everything the coaches have asked. Are you Lee bashers gonna lose your shite if we keep winnin with Lee?

The only reason Lee is #1, is because he's been here the whole time and Mett hasn't. Miles is loyal.
That being said, I'm fine with that decision. Lee has prob maxed his potential... Mett has a much higher ceiling...
I hope Lee plays well enough to not lose his job and win a lot of games this year...

Mostly because in order to defend Lee starting they feel the need to downgrade Mett's talent. Mett is a better QB than Lee. Lee is starting because of experience and that is it. Same reason JJ supporters felt the need to insult Lee.
Of course you can spout that he will develop and then be better next season BS.

Don't know what you're driving at. I've always looked at JJ and JL as who was the lesser of 2 evils, and while I, like many here, probably went back and forth on that once or twice, it was never because I thought either one of them was a good QB. I just thought one was better than the other for various reasons. In terms you would understand, I can't remember a time after they stepped out onto the field that I didn't think they both sucked.

So you want to keep the incumbent until he fails, regardless of how well Mett does? No thanks - I'll take the better qb, even when both are succeeding. It's obvious Mett is better. Deal with it. I find it inexplicable that LSU fans don't want to see the better qb start. I know we've all gotten used to and comfortable with shitty qb play for the last few years, but it's ok to want a real qb out there. I promise, it won't be a bad thing.

This season maybe not but his past largely indicates he will be the cause of at least one loss.
All things being equal I will trust the 2 year sample size more than a 2 game sample
