Mercedes Benz Stadium to Atlanta airport.

How bad is traffic after the game? My flight leaves at 9:30 pm after the peach bowl.

If you stay until the end of the game, you will not make your flight.
If you do what a typical LSU fan does, then you will leave sometimes in the 3rd quarter and make it to your flight.

Agreed - you will not make a 9:30pm flight if you stay the whole game.
Vine City MARTA to the Airport might be the fastest. An Uber would likely get stuck in traffic.

Traffic will be horrible & security will be unpredictable. You could always hop on MARTA from MBS to ATL.

you can get directly to the airport from MARTA pretty quickly, but I'd try to get a later flight if you can since the game probably wont be over until 7:45-8 p.m.

It’s not far but if your flight leaves at 9:30, you should be at the airport no later than 8:00. I would plan to leave the stadium by 7pm at the latest. If it’s like the SEC champ game, you will miss some of the game! Change your flight?

4:00 playoff start won't finish until 8:00. It will take 30 mins to leave and get a train, probably 30 minutes (or more) to get to the airport, and then security, etc.

Get a morning flight. Are you tsa pre check? I went through Atlanta airport today and if TSA pre check it’s not bad but you will be cutting it close if not missing the flight or part of the game.

Wife and I think no later than 7:30 to leave and take MARTA. That's still likely to be tight, but possible.

You need to get to ATL before 8pm. You'll need to leave the stadium by 7-7:15pm at the latest regardless of how you travel.

Marta is only chance. But don’t go to Vine City. Exit MBS on the sky bridge side, walk to the station closet to State Farm arena. That puts you one stop closer to 5 points where you have to switch to southbound.
Or, get super aggressive and walk to Garnett station from MBS. That will put you on the south line and be 5 stops from airport. Station is next to magic city. Good luck if you go this route :)
