Mercedes-Benz seating question

I’m considering going to the Peach Bowl. Looking at sitting the upper bowl in section 312 (50 yard line LSU side). For those of you that have been to the stadium how is the view from that area? Is it worth the money or should I just watch on TV?

There really isn't a bad seat in the place. It's much better than the old GA Dome as far as sight lines go. Of course you should geaux and support the Tigers!

Rumor is you need to be seated on rows 10 or lower in the third level or else your view of the jumbotron will be blocked.

We were in Row 17 in the endzone uppers and this wasn't the case. But I could see it being true in the back rows maybe. The sidelines are closer to the jumbo tron so I wonder if that's where those people had those issues.

I was Row 12 and had a good view. There is definitely a cutoff point but its not row 10. I'd guess 5-10 rows higher but don't know for sure.

This. I was in row 20 of section 303 for the SECCG, and the top portion of the screen (maybe the top 1/4) was blocked. Field view was surprisingly fine.

I sat there Saturday row 23 and was perfect.

If you're on row 10 or lower, you don't need to look at the fricking jumbotron.

I am in section 320 - I know the band is below - is the sound blocked like on some stadiums - hope
To hear them
To hear them

I was near there last section. It was hard to hear the band.

My awesome seats were like row 30 (second from the top) and I could see the whole field but not the jumbotron. Sucked for replays - watched the game back in my room afterwards and there were things I missed - specifically all the Georgia injuries - it would have been nice to have some context.

We sat at the top of the uppers last weekend and the view of the field was fine but you can’t see the screens hardly at all

Anyone been in/around 321 like 10-15 rows up? May use those tics and was just wondering

That’s my concern. I’d hate to spend the cash and watch ants run around the field with limited perspective of what’s going on.

I was row 25 (sec 314) and the plays/players definitely weren’t ants. I was impressed with the view, because on the climb up I was worried. But yes, the top half of the screen for us was not visible. I’d equate it to sitting in the lower portion (the gold/yellow seats) in the East/West uppers at TS - at the very worst.
Later we moved down to the lower bowl with some friends - and my wife commented how she actually liked the higher seats better because you could see the whole play develop, vs having a hard time seeing plays at the other end of the field when down low.
Just go - it’ll be fun and worth it all.

I was in section 311 row 33, second from the top. It's up there, but the field view is actually really good. We couldn't see any replay at all due to these huge pipes. For such an awesome stadium the design for those seats in relation to their massive scoreboard is unbelievably stupid.

I've heard the overhang is such that the view from the lower rows of the 300s is quite good, right on top of the field.
