One thing your forgetting Mwani started on last year's team,he can even get on the floor with this year's team

Hill over Pinson (slightly)

I stopped here, just no.

Pinson was definitely better than Hill has been here, and Hill ha splayed practically nobody yet by comparison.

I'd put Hays over Hill to this point.

One thing you’re forgetting is Miller would have started last year had he not gotten injured instead of Mwani. Mwani fit into the scheme differently because he could defend as recognized by averaging nearly 2 steals a game. Plus he shot >40% from 3 and nearly 50% from the floor. Don’t act like he is a terrible player. Last year’s team was about turning people over, rebounding and getting easy baskets. Pinson was the catalyst to make that happen.

If Mwani would produce more offensively, then he would probably start. Last year’s team had plenty of high scorers, so he didn’t need to score last year. This year we only have KJ as a reliable scorer, and are hoping to have Miller, but last year we had Days, Eason, Pinson, Murray and even Reid could score. Fountain is showing signs of becoming a good scorer. Hopefully Williams, Hill and Reed will step up.

If you watched the Bama game today it’s clear we’re going to need our bigger wings like Wilk and Ward to contribute in the SEC. There’s no way we’ll be able to guard 6-8 wings like that kid from Bama using Cam Hayes or Ace Miller.

I think last years team eats this team alive. At least at this point. It’s not even a player vs player comparison, it’s style of play. This years team only stays in it if KJ has a monster game like big men would have on occasion against us
