Why is it so hard for you people to understand that no elite players will come here as long as those NCAA sanctions are still looming? You think he just magically forgot how to recruit when he crossed state lines?

He's not getting fired until at least a couple of signing classes AFTER the NCAA investigation and punishment is finished with. Enjoy the shitshow until then.

AND NEITHER DO WE RIGHT NOW!!! So why are you always on here celebrating the terrible state of our basketball program instead of demanding the results this program is capable of?

I don’t get the McLoser fans.

I can see why people support les even when it was time to put him out to Pasteur the guy at least won and won big here.

Same with O at least he had a NC.

McLoser has done nothing and some guys can’t stop defending him.

If you know most of those type posters history it’s really about their predictions 2-3 years ago. They wanted Wade fired because he wasn’t winning enough and said anybody could do what he was doing. They don’t love or think McMahon is any good, what they’re really defending is their previous opinions prior to him even being here.

We have an NOA. Because of Wade. The decision will be handed down sometime by the end of Summer. Pretending it doesn't exist doesn't make it so.

And you still are not listening to what I’m asking you and what I have been asking you for months. What is the excuse for not having good results recruiting (and on the court) when we had allegations against the program previously and still got highly regarded players? Pretending like our program is in a good place right now under the current leadership doesn’t make it so.

1) We didn't have an NOA.
2) Wade was paying players.

We are rebuilding. McMahon inherited a total crap sandwich and it will take time to rebuild. Only an idiot would think this was going to be rebuilt in a month. So you are either an idiot or a Wade kiss arse.

He’s a very dishonest person. He knows what you’re saying but for his narrative to exist he has to be dishonest.

A lot of your answers can be found if you ask yourself similarly, why did no one want to hire Will Wade after LSU fired him.

The highly publicized, controversial investigation did damage to both parties. Both have to perform damage control to fight off what is perceived and what is real.

Until you realize Woodward doesn't give a blue frick about MBB. He will hold onto MM as long as humanly possible.

I just don’t want to accept mediocrity/crappiness when other programs in our own conference (who we have a better historical program than mind you) have made a commitment to basketball. In this age of college athletics there is no “it just takes time” and if that’s the approach we’re taking we’re fricked. And yes I’m gonna kiss Wade’s arse here a little bit because regardless of whether he screwed up he proved that success can be had here in a short amount of time if you put some effort into keeping up with the other big programs.

How does it get better? You had people last year thinking after the KJ transfer this team had a shot at the tournament but they were horrible. Next year looks worse on paper and recruiting is in the shitter. So what exactly is he building? It’s fine to say it’s going to take some time but it’d be nice to see some positive signs to hang your hat on other than just pretending with time it’s just going to get better

s it just me or is CMM just loading up on La transfer players who weren’t good enough to recruit out of high school? You can’t compete in the sec like this.

Actually you can.

Regardless of the selling point(which in this case is come home and be the foundation for the future), the 3 Louisiana kids we were able to reel in are far superior to anyone on the team not named KJ. Just those 3 alone will give us some stability and consistency. Add Baker, a healthy Wilkinson, and hopefully improved Reed and Ward we should be a middle of the road SEC team. Not to mention the freshmen coming in. Will be a night and day difference.
