Mel Kiper just said that he has TM7 going to New England in the second round.

Would the Patriots be a good fit for him?

go to the saints board and pose this question to chadboi. He's a retired NFL scout and can give you the best answer to this. Great guy too.

The patriots are a good fit for most players.

Belichick develops unconventional players in ways many other teams can't.

Great, so now I can look forward to that not happening. I wonder where he will have him going in a few days when he does another mock draft.

Awwww shitttt

And i dont see it happening. Pats take character risks later in the draft and arent in the market for a nickel corner after resigning one of the top nickel corners out there in Kyle Arrigton

Pats need an outside CB in case Dennard is in a lot of trouble and misses a lot of time

I'm with you. He does so many that he eventually nails it

tm7 is going to be good wherever he goes. Great punt returner and just a terror in the nickle. He will be great in a blitz package and when teams are running a 3 or 4 wide set.

I just dont get why so many people buy into mock drafts, it all goes out the window day one.

This assumes he will make it till next football season without getting in trouble.

I can not see a team pulling the trigger on TM7 before round 3. Off the field issue and 5'9" 180lb

If the team needs a big playmaker, then he will be a good fit. Good luck Tyrann!

He was a playmaker and you can't teach that.
Glad I'm not making the call though

Does anyone know if TM7's individual contract can have a clause that requires him to have scheduled drug test or does the player union forbid this?

The Pats aren't going to reach for an undersized nickel corner in the 2nd round.

Probably not. But with his history, they may think he does not have control of it. Remember they are paying him a pretty good annual salary.
