We’re Public Enemy #1 now, buddy. Embrace it. It’s here for awhile.

For sure. It’s only going to get worse if (when) Kiffin starts winning big.

I love how the SEC (and Big Ten) scrambled within a day or two to try and ban this from occurring, citing the integrity of the sport was at stake.

The integrity of college football was lost years ago with unregulated NIL and transfer portal bribing and antics. If they cared about actually fixing the sport, they'd be directing their attention to those issues, not overreacting to what is essentially a one time exception for a select group of players.

That "and others" is hilarious in its bias.

I want other teams to sing them first. It won’t look good for LSU to be the headline for this.Let A@ M,UCLA,ETC .get the headline before us.

For players who actually suited up and played in a real game, Ckelby Givens at Southern University (FCS, SWAC) in their August 29 opener against Alabama State is one of the very first documented cases. He was added as a plaintiff to that Louisiana case just days before and recorded tackles and a sack.Kylon Harris at Stephen F. Austin also played that same weekend under similar protection. There might have been a handful of others in Week 0 or early games, but Givens is the name that keeps coming up as one of the first to actually take the field under these late-breaking state orders. The whole thing's been a mess with overlapping rulings.
