Wade did the same thing everyone else was doing. There was a notice of allegations, nothing more. He would still be here if the administration had stood pat

Which part? How many Blue Blood coaches have been caught on tape discussing money offers? The only two coaches that I know of who were caught like that were WW and Sean Miller (Arizona). Both got fired. Miller's was a bit more egregious because he mentioned the specific player if my memory serves me right.

All I have ever wanted is to be a consistent tournament team. Will Wade brought that consistency.
Brady was too feast or famine with deep tournament run or being bottom of SEC, often in back to back seasons.
There is no excuse for a school with the resources of LSU to not be in the tournament every year.
