No offensive identity or flow whatsoever. No ball movement. Piss poor transition defense. Zero 3 point defense. Mediocre half court everything.

Absolutely outclassed once again by a coach who knows how to coach

Gonzaga has them well scouted. They’re countering whatever McNeese does defensively and offensively they’re paying extra attention to the point guard whereas conventional wisdom would say “take out Shumate”

Which is exactly why Wade is no big loss. If you take away is one dimension of offense, he has no answer.

Don’t tell this to all of the Wade dick suckers. They think he’s Phil Jackson.

BINGO! The Pear still can’t coach his way out of a wet paper bag and his team cant run an offense to save their lives!

Anyone who thinks this is a coaching issue doesn’t know basketball. Now I will say that offensively it was a lot of one on one and the Mcneese players weren’t able to handle the length. But this is men against boys. The talent gap is wide. I diont care what Wade would do he doesn’t have the talent. And as I have said before I need to see Mcneese play someone good. I don’t see how playing one of the weakest SOS in the worst conference in the country could prepare you for the tournament. They didn’t beat anyone. And last place Michigan doesn’t count. All this game will do is motivate Wade to get a power 5 job ASAP so he can get better talent to compete in NCAA.

McNeese had 1 game this season against a Quad 1 team (VCU), ranked 71.

Against Quad 2 teams, they were 2-2

L 74-76 Away (111) Western Caro.
L 62-71 Away (99) Louisiana Tech
W 81-60 Away (104) UAB
W 87-76 Away (133) Michigan

So McNeese will finish 1-1 against Quad 1 teams. They didn't play against anyone in the Top 70, until tonight. Easy to see why they had 30 wins. Congrats on a good season, but, in the NCAA Tourney, this is like assuming that Southern or Grambling may beat LSU in a regular season football game. Could McNeese beat LSU this year in basketball - of course, but not likely (even after the team from Thibodaux beat LSU). Regardless, congrats to WW for providing a fun season in Lake Charles.

But they did secure wins against

-Mississippi University for women
-Champion Christian
-Lefoudre
-Biblical studies

They had a terrible schedule.
