It blows my mind that this kid has become the savior in some of your eyes. He looked better than the other 2 in the spring game. Have you learned nothing about QB performances in the spring game from the last 10+ years?

If he's the starter, goodnight Ed Orgeron.

Make it happen Ed!

ESPN is going to repeat that at least 5 times in the game lol . I can see Justin McMillan having a special now

Reporter: “Did you ever think you would be starting for LSU and your first career start would be back in this Stadium?”

JM: “ It’s a dream and I don’t want to wake up. I always knew I had what it takes, I had to put in the work and now it’s my time.”

Reporter: “Justin, you’re 6-0 in Cowboy stadium, dating back to high school. Are you going to make it 7-0 on one of the biggest stages in all of College Football in front of friends and family ?”

JM: “I cant go out there and expect to do too much. My teammates have been behind me all week saying play your game, we got you. I have to put the ball in the hand of our playmakers and let them work. We are going to do everything we can to get a W against a great Miami team.”

It's not about him being the savior, but about him being the best QB for the JOB!!! Reality Bites huh....

Watching the spring game again....he can make the throws we need. Which should be 5yd routes cause lets be honest

OUR WRs ARE FREAKS

Just get them the damn ball. Dillon, Sullivan, Giles (although we didnt see it Sat.), and Jefferson. Can make plays at the LOS with either speed or SIZE.

Then....there are those TREEs we have at TE. Poise at QB is as valuable as talent at this point. and JM has that right now. Brennan has to settle the frick down if he's going to get the job. And our OLINE can't be facing our DLINE

What does that have to do with being 6-0 in cowboys stadium. Does that qualify him in any way whatsoever? How is that grounded in this reality you speak of?

This is being an a-hole just to be an a-hole.

You're an a-hole.

The backup QB with no experience is usually the best QB for the job, right? Just very odd that a redshirt sophomore last year that supposedly is better than the true freshman backup was behind him on the depth chart. OR could it be McMillan had one marginally better practice Saturday?

What was said that was being an a-hole?

Looking like the best of three QBs in a spring game isn't an indicator of being successful come September.

Okay. Okay.

Someone says:
quote:

Let's see what he can do against The U.
And a-hole replies:
quote:

It blows my mind that this kid has become the savior in some of your eyes.
Did the OP say anything about JM being a savior?

No. No, he didn't.

So yeah, that's being an a-hole just to be an a-hole.

It isn't. But I don't see where anyone annointed JM a savior either.

It blows my mind that a-holes like you on the Rant demand negativity at all times.

No, he said "in some of your eyes". If you haven't seen the glowing praise of McMillan on this board since Saturday (after a fairly mediocre performance), then I guess you haven't been on here.

Again, there's nothing really a-hole about what was said. Seems like you're just being an a-hole to be an a-hole.

So he responded to the OP but he wasn't talking to the OP?

Well I guess so in world where somebody responds to another person but doesn't respond to the other person.

a-hole built a little straw man just to knock him down. If you can't see that, you're trying not to see it.

The board has enough negativity. We don't need people building straw men to create more negativity.

Because that's being an a-hole just to be an a-hole.
