Is starting to sound awfully like “Curly coached Brett Favre”. It would be great if we could find something else to hang his hat on at LSU so announcer stop constantly parroting it.

Brady coached Burrow. Does anyone believe that Brady was the reason for burrows success?

Crean coached Dwayne Wade

I'm still giving him a pass for this season though
He had to replace the entire roster and is playing sec teams with experience
Woodward hired Buzz Williams and it took him a couple of years to get it going

Would Les Miles have run hellaire into the teeth of a bama defense on 1st and second down?

Brady gets SOME credit for looseni g the reigns.

He went 31-3 without Ja Morant. He isn’t impressing this year but the revisionist history is bullshite. After he got rolling, he was very successful at Murray State without Morant in all years except 2020. But yea let’s compare him to Curley who didn’t even win consistently with Brett Favre at USM

Are you referring to LSU, or the team that controlled LSU from start to finish last night? Because you are aware Missouri had to replace their entire roster too, right?

He had good seasons without Ja Morant.

He was one of the best mid major coaches. Yes this season sucks and he isn’t doing a good job but I’m willing to give him time.

Morant had more skill than anyone on this team and MM won that recruiting battle. Consider the most consistent player on the squad came from his previous school. Miller and Justice Williams are both WW recruits originally.

Funny you mention that, one of our other current coaches had to do the same. Forgot his name though.

I don't get the hate for this coach. He came in with what, 1 player from the previous roster?

Basketball is not football.

Everyone (with a brain) knew this was going to be a bad season.

Let’s be honest, the curly hallman comparisons are kind of dumb

I had a low bar for this season but the guy isn't even getting these guys to compete. Losing is one thing but getting the shite beat out of nightly is a different problem.

I don't even see a light at the end of the tunnel with a promising class coming in. So I'm not really sure what there is to be positive about regarding the direction of the program.

I think Missouri had fewer left. I also think their coach brought more of his players with him (4 vs 3).

The biggest difference I see is the age/classification/experience of Missouri's players.

LSU is about 50/50 (FR,SO)/(Jr or higher):
FR 5
SO 3
JR 5
SR 4

Mizzou is about 20/80 (FR,SO)/(Jr or higher)
Fr 2
So 1
Jr 3
Sr 4
Gr 5

I'd be more impressed by his success at Murray State if he built the program. He does get some credit for sustaining the past success of Murray State, but he didn't build it.

There is nothing McMahon has shown me this year to prove that he can rebuild a program reaching the NCAA tournament year in and year out.
