Last night was probably one of the most annoying games I’ve ever heard from a booth…!! I just wanna punch the shite out of Joe Tessitore for all the contrived yelling.

All I noticed was that McElroy said LSU needs to go tempo, and one or two plays later LSU started going tempo and it was gamechanging.

Greg is great, honestly. I really appreciate his insight and the way he explains things.

Like him or not, but Greg McElroy is absolutely one of the best analysts in the business.

Nay! Joe is cringeworthy…..he’s trying too hard. McElroy I don’t mind so much.

Greg isn’t as bad as I thought. He diagnoses stuff pretty quick. Mediocre QB but a good football mind, gump and all, even if it’s weird to acknowledge.

I laughed after McElroy said LSU should let them score

Gregg is a good dude. Heard him on satellite radio for a few years.

McElroy annoys me personally and seems like he would be a gigantic douche IRL but he really knows football and gives some great insight. I like him as a commentator

McElroy is OK. He is pretty good analyst but is dry as toast. I imagine he will get more comfortable in the role after a few more yrs. He moved up to a 3rd or 4th team national broadcast crew a yr or two ago.

He wasn't wrong. The chances of getting them turning the ball over there was slim to none. Letting them score there and giving yourself as much time as possible there is statistically the right play. They score at least a FG in that situation 95% of the time.

McElroy is good for the most part but doesn’t transition well. Some point early he was just explaining that one team needs to defend the other team more often to win

Greg was good I thought. Other than that anyone other than Danielson And the big 10 early game woman is OK

He also said we need to let fsu score and go up two scores to preserve time

That’s pretty conventional wisdom. We’ve seen plenty of college and NFL head coaches do that. Counting on the other team to fumble at the 1 would be fools gold

This. As much as I want to dislike him because he went to Bama, he’s actually extremely objective and very knowledgeable.

Another one that surprised me this weekend was Mullen. I thought he was good in the halftime recaps.

Why? Just because he played at Bama?
