It's clear Reed getting hurt basically kicked this season in the nuts. I don't know how TreyDez can fill in or his role but if he can play Reed's role that would be fantastic.

It only takes 10 years to turn around a program.

Vandy shot only 44% and missed 8 free throws.

But

17 offensive rebounds
6 more turnovers for LSU than for Vandy
Vandy had 16 more shot attempts because of the TOs and ORBs
28% 3-pt shooting on your home court

Recipe for a loss.

we haven't had a real home court advantage since Will Wade was fired unfortunately.

This is going to be a long season.
I don’t see how we get to 8. Not even 7 considering who was lost. There are a lot of freshmen/RF playing so I think one more year is about all we can ask with McMahon. After next season, it is over if there isn’t an NIT invitation at a minimum this one.

We’re a bottom 4 or 5 team in the league, it looks like. Vandy at home has to be a W if you’re scratching and clawing for anything close to .500 in this league
100%. I was just commenting.

I'm not as down as many are on McMahon but that is funny right there.

I been preaching that but folks wanna say "Big time." Non conference schedule was soft as Charmin. Team is going to struggle mightily rest of the conference slate.

I was praying for 8 wins. I don’t see any more than that on the schedule with match-ups. Vandy was one of them because I thought LSU would dominate the boards. That was an arse whipping on the boards by a smaller team.

They will be lucky if they can win 5 in conference

Been really disappointed in how much Carter has disappeared down the stretch in these losses this year

Robert Miller needs to grow up fast. Looks outmatched. Losing Reed hurt.

Gotta hope Sears and Miller adjust to SEC fast.

Lotta season ahead and I think we will win a couple we shouldn’t, and lose some we sjouldnt

We need to abandon the mcman sleep ball we play in the first halves. In the second half we were much more willing to attack and take shots. If they can play with that heat the whole time, they probably would have won this game

I think we said this before, we get along a lot. For good reasons. You are the optimist and I'm trying to not be the pessimist.

Regardless of what happens, this loss sucked. And any a-hole here enjoying a loss for a "told ya" can really do one thing.

Game was an absolute slog to watch in the pmac…. Refs taking over the game and the over abundance of screaming children made this one of my least enjoyable pmac experiences of recent memory.

I think this game solidifies to me that offensively we’re just chalked. Our scheme is shite

Vandy got half of their points from their bench (40). LSU had 8 bench points.

Not to mention that we had a large crowd and blew it, as well as blowing one of the two easiest games remaining on our schedule. This was a must win and we blew it
