Texas is just going to take it to the rim every possession to try to get a foul. That’s been the approach since 5 minutes ago. They’ve been in the bonus since the 13:00 mark it seems like.
LSU hasn’t guarded the perimeter. So why not throw in a zone. If they bury you from 3, fine. But that’s not their game.
It really feels like MM purposely plays for “close losses”.

Right now, they are all just looking at NET, KenPom, and Torvik. LSU is on the edges there.
But anyone watching them play knows that they are not going to win another 3 games or make any sort of run in the SEC tournament. And this game is on the SEC Network, so part of that is kind of what they are paid to do. Two more losses probably stops that talk; maybe this one will.
