Scott Woodward killed lsu basketball. This is all voluntary. It didn’t have to be this way.

As I understand it, Woodward was not the driver behind that. There are, or at least were, a few of the bigger MBB boosters who still liked McMahon. I got no real sources about that, just a preponderance of things I read.
Also, they were not wrong that LSU, or at least the boosters, needed to spend more to solidify a competitive roster in MMB. It appears they were wrong in thinking that this coach and/or staff weren't as big a part of the problem.
