It’s about that time boys and tonight sparks the first day of our basketball journey this year. I will give you my expectations and would love to hear your.

So first and foremost, I wanna see a team that plays hard and gives a lot of energy. Maybe all this youth is the answer? But most of all, give me an identity to who you are, it’s time for Coach Mac to put a staple behind what kinda ball and style we are gonna play here under him.

Now I’ll be the first to say i think a coach has 4 years to get into the tourney and by standard he should be getting us in at least 2 out of 4 years. But due to the youth, if his players play hard and we can see the potential and are not getting blown out, I’ll even let it slide this year if we don’t make the tourney. Yeah I know, pains me to do it, just give me some sign of life and reason to believe thou!

NCAA Tourney or season is a failure. Any other expectation would be a bad one. Three years is enough time to build a team capable of going to the tourney at LSU.

Man that’s the rule I usually stick by too, guess it just feels like forever since we did that my expectations are slipping lmao.

SEC will be very tough this season. Unfortunately, Lsu might be improved but it may not be reflected in the final standings. I've seen them predicted to finish anywhere between 13 and dead last. That won't garner any post season play.

Make the tourney would be a start. Recruiting is getting much better. Win a game in the tourney and the season is a huge win

They need to get in the Ncaa tourney this year or it's time to move on from McMahon Oats at Alabama had them in the tourney his 1st or 2nd year south Carolina coach had them in his 2nd year,it's time for McMahon to prove he belongs at this level of a big time coach or get rid of him. It doesn't take 5 years to make the tourney, he either produces or goodbye!

With ward I see a 10-12 sec win ceiling. Need to see more tape of the new back court. More optimistic this year than last. Sears guy looks ready to shoot and carter stepping into a Wright like roll. Excited to sit back, watch, grab a brew, holler at tv.

With McMahon, yall should limit your expectations to NIT. He's shown really nothing and I don't even follow bb like that.

In the exhibition the team seemed to really focus on defense. Heck, Jalen got pulled for not helping on defense on their first basket. Think the score was 37-2.

I would like to see Robert Miller taking 3's early. He bricked his 1st 2 the other night (rookie jitters) but came back in the 2nd half to make 1.

Expectation is to be on the bubble. Going into this year, the SEC is as deep as it has ever been, so to be on bubble talks in March would be an improvement.
