I did not watch a lot of CEH but he sure seemed like an every down back . The pundits seem to think he is more of a receiving back . Seems like he runs pretty strong between the tackles. What say you ?

There are very few pundits that know the college game as well as pros. It’s the same idiots that were shocked Justin Jefferson ran a 4.43.

CEH will have a very long career in the NFL. He understands the game. He’s a great teammate by all accounts. He catches the ball well, blocks well, understands blitzes and has great burst through the hole. The only knock on Clyde is his top end speed.

He’s a complete back. True 3 down guy. He’s not a burner but he’s so damn elusive

Think prime Ray Rice. Or a more elusive, slightly slower Mark Ingram.

I don’t know if he could be a bell cow but I think he could be a 1200 yd all purpose yardage guy for 5 years.

One of the most consistently underrated players you’ll see. I always loved his style. He’s criminally undervalued in terms of his physicality and quickness.

Yea he’s short but that kid is a hoss. He’s incredibly strong. Couple his talent with his intelligence and he’s gonna be an outstanding pro for a long time

I wasn’t sure if he could be a workhorse in college, and he clearly could. I’m not sure if he’ll do that in the pros, but I know he’s capable now. that 4.61 40 time will hurt him a good bit. you’re not gonna be able to score from anywhere on the field with that speed. DBs are way too fast for that and even a lot of LBs are a good bit faster than that.

Lol he may not have track speed but in short bursts, which is how most yards are gained, he’s as good as any.

Clyde is probably going to be a second-rounder. If he wasn't an every-down back, then he would probably go somewhere around the fourth or fifth round.

Clyde is a ball of hate playing with a chip on his shoulder.

Who wants to try to tackle that?

Uhm, Ingram ran a 4.66 in the forty at the combine and Clyde ran a 4.6 forty at the combine. Yeah, Clyde is faster than Ingram.

Clyde is a 3 down guy hands down! He wouldn't be a projected second-rounder if he weren't.

CEH is special. He isn't the best at anything, but he is almost the best at EVERYTHING! He literally has no weakness. You have heard jack of all trades well he is more like the king of all trades.

I think he needs to go in the later rounds of the draft. Go under the radar so to speak. I think this will translate to a longer more successful career in the Pros.

Dude is a bad a$$

Some draft pundits that I have seen that the "every down back" was CEH's biggest attribute. Obviously he is not a ground and pound offense guy but in a spread offense he is excellent in pass protection, safety valve option, screens, RPO, and hot routes out of the backfield.

I must qualify these remarks though. This was a work in progress all last season and by the second half or back third of the season CEH had really sharpened his RPO game to compliment his use as a receiver.

CEH is a three down back that someone is going to steal in the second or maybe even third round. He would really fit the Saints O, but doubt that will happen without a second round pick this year.

CEH is going to be a great pro because he is determined not to be outwork! Add to it that he has tremendous hands and great field vision means he is likely going to have a very successful career. I wouldn't be surprised if he follows in the foot steps of Kevin Faulk!

He seems to be versatile. He can run inside and catch out of the backfield. He's denonstrated both.

He ran a 4.53 at Alabama’s pro day. Turn on the film jag off.
