i like how noone has even mentioned that the video looks like shite anyway. it looks like a video someone from the rant would make on their laptop and post on youtube and start a thread about it.
rouge is right on this, the video is just over the top, and the song is gay. the only thing the song has are the lyrics "game over". they should use something with a build up that gets the crowd pumped (ex: hells bells).
also, the majority in this thread are trying to defend matty by supporting the video and song when in reality matty would probably agree more with the OP. he didn't even choose the song.

I remember in the day when Adrian Antolinie sp. came in to pitch in a regional once. The song they played was "Wild Thing". It was big in the 90's with Major League the movie a few years earlier. Have fun. You pay boatloads of money on tickets and concessions, so enjoy the atmosphere.

some people in this thread are just acting like babies man. LSU's baseball team has earned the right to be as arrogant as they want. These tactics are things done to send a message to the other team that you will not beat this team on this day in this park. the intimidator, the walk up songs, the GAME OVER on the scoreboard all play into the home field advantage. you dont think what the fans chant and do at Duke basketball games is arrogant and obnoxious? thats part of why they are virtually unbeatable at Cameron. and yes the football team could take a page from that cause regardless if the phrase is overused in sports a team that plays with arrogance and confidence usually has an advantage over a team playing scared. get the frick over it people and stop crying and be proud that LSU baseball is good enough to be able to do what they want and back it up. have a great day!
