Nobody mentioned the fact that Flynn has a national championship ring & super bowl ring. Sure, both of which were from the bench

Some team could get Flynn as their starter then take a chance on JR as his backup.
The rantards would come out of the woodwork.

Only if they sign Jefferson as 3rd string and Lee on the Practice squad

Gauranteed super bowl title

There is a case to be made that Green Bay should keep MF
Completely disagree.
I honestly can't see a case for keeping a player who basically never plays when you can get a 2nd rounder out of him.
I get the injury angle, but IMO it's not remotely a solid reasoning.

I am always rooting for Matt since no one really gave him a legitimate chance to succeed in the NFL. I think he deserves the chance to be a starter in the league. Sure a back-up is a great job if your are not that talented enough to start but the money is at the strting QB position and I think he will do alright in the right system. Arizona has a nice corp of receivers he could throw to and a few young running backs to mix in the offense. Good luck Matt!

Not even remotely? It's the NFL and it's a QB league. Just ask Dallas or Carolina or Arizona or Cleveland. I don't know what your definition of "basically never plays" is, but starting a late season game against the Pats with playoff eligibility in the balance is important.

I respectfully disagree. He has a great gig. Five years in NFL active roster = retirement.
I may have been out of the country for a few years but I didn't know I was in a time warp.
Matt, I thought, led the Tigers in the 2007 season and to the Jan 2008 BCS Championship? Wouldn't that be three years in the NFL?

Nope, agree to disagree.
Not for a possible 2nd round pick for a player who gets virtually no playing time at all.
It's a no brainer, you pull the triger and don't think twice, IMO.
