Aranda.

Though it hasn't hurt them yet, Auburn did us a huge favor by hiring Steele from us. That was exciting and then we capped it off with a proven hire. Aranda's track record had way fewer question marks and uncertainty than Canada's.

Canada by far. We'd grown somewhat accustomed to good defensive play. We haven't seen good offensive coaching in forever.

Most people are saying Aranda because he proved himself during the season.
As an SEC OC, Canada is unproven, but I'm excited.

Aranda's resume is about as strong as anyone's. He was truly a can't miss hire last year. I hope Canada will be a great OC for us, but with Aranda there was really no doubt he was going to excel.

Aranda. But it's the best 1-2 punch we've had in a LONG time.

Canada

After Kevin Steele I would've been happy with a B- defensive coordinator... seeing how Chavis panned out (is panning out) at A&M it was pretty apparent we could hold our own with a guy who was mediocre and the talent would make up for it

I can honestly say I can't remember the last time I was EXCITED to see what we would do on offense. Mett with Landry and OBJ and JH was definitely fun to watch... but it still had Miles' flair on it (Miles or Cameron).

Our defense needed a renovation

Our offense needed a tear down and redo

Both are great coaches. Problem these days is that great coordinators don't hang around for very long. If they're both as good as we think they are, they'll be gone in 2 years. If not we'all want them to be.

You have two great former Badger coordinators.

If Coach O can manage a game and a program you may have something good cooking down there.

Aranda but that's probably hindsight. We have seen what he is capable of here now. Canada appears to be a good hire and compliment to Aranda.

I don't worry much about yardage but both seem very capable on the points side of things.

What should really excite us is having 2 guys who appear to be on track for future HC positions which will build LSU's HC coaching tree when the program will need a new HC.

Give me a minute. I'm still hyperventilating from watching Canada's offense at Pitt in action. Dang! Misdirection, confused DL, OL lineman scoring, FB catching passes.

This offense is going to be fun to watch.

Two gifted coaches doing their magic.

Geaux Tigahs!
