O made a mistake hiring him.
O made a mistake in not being able to work with him.
Take your pick.

No surprise to anyone who was subjected to his dickness.

Matt Canada almost beat Ohio State last year. If they make the 2 point play, he might have a significant job today.

You mean the dickness Orgeron made up?

Or the dickness that has left him without a job.
The dude made Maryland a better team when they fired the head coach and maryland still fired him. What does that tell you?

Lol wow facts are your friend, he was offered a few jobs this off season, OC at Pitt, OC at Indiana and HC at Northern Illinois and he wasn’t fired at Maryland, he was never the head coach, he was the interim coach because the head man had disciplinary problems. Besides all the misinformation you’re pushing your argument is totally beside the point and nothing but a straw man. The actual point is Canada has never had problems with anyone other than Ed Orgeron and that rumor was started by Orgeron only after Canada signed a NDA and was unable to respond to them. A real class act that Orgeron, that’s why multiple coaches came to Canada’s defense calling what Orgeron did disgraceful over the summer last year.

Ensminger had a better QB last year and still couldn’t put points on the board.
There are 11 guys on the offense...not just one. Our O-line was in shambles. To leave that out of the equation is disingenuous. Also, our QB missed spring. Yet another factor left out.
I like Ensminger but Canada is a better OC and it’s really not up for debate.
I would have agreed with you prior to watching Pitt's games. Basically, the Clemson game won Canada his award. In short, if if weren't for a shite pot of luck and a boat load of calls going Pitt's way, that game isn't close. Now...I say Canada and Emsminger are both solid OC's, but nothing amazing. I would give the edge to Canada, but not by much. Canada evidently being a major a-hole can't help his circumstances.
Just my .02.

This makes no sense to me. I liked the hire based on the info at the time.
He was highly regarded from his OC stint at Pitt. I assumed the reports on Canada were true. After watching the Pitt / Clemson game, I had my doubts, but not before. To be fair, most CFB people were in agreement at the time in believing it was a great hire.

Once a dick head always a dick head. He was - is a disaster that no one wants to work with.

We are two-three completed passes from beating bama that year

Y'all mother frickers were pissed when he brought in Sullivan
Because the guy was 73 years old and brought nothing of value to the staff. He was hired to cover up the garbage coaching of Mickey Joseph and he couldn’t even do that.
He was a “yes” man that O got along with. No different than Meatball and Cregg. It’s no different than what Miles did with Cam Cameron and Bradley Dale Peveto—hiring buddies he gets along with rather than the best man for the job.

When did you work with Canada?
Posted on 6/27/19 at 7:02 am to crescentcity
I'd say Danny Etling probably owes his job to Canada. Canada made him look a lot better than he was. We all now know how crappy we've been at offensive line. That didn't just happen overnight. Canada had to work around it too.

You got proof that he was offered these jobs?

You got proof of this as well?
Regardless, he still doesnt have a job and maryland didnt retain him even though the team progressed. That must tell you something right?

He outgained bama that one game. My guess saban and others would have crashed and burned him year 2.

I wasn’t defending Matt Canada.

So then you must feel that Ensminger crashed and burned?
