Yes, you can score from anywhere. But it's easier to take away the outside if you know they'll only run to the middle and never pass. From 12 yards out, back of the end zone should have been an option with Chark's length and leaping. Never was.

WRONG. Canada’s Offense was under producing on the field, and was a true ratfink and cancer in the locker room. He sucked as a Oc and A member of the leadership team.

Canada may have been a cancer but you don't this for a fact. The only thing we do know is LSU is preventing him from talking about what really went down. I would like to know why.

Why would Nick Saban fire Lane right before the Natty, it wasn't for shits and giggles. Canada was good I liked him as OC.

i agree. we let the fake head coach get rid of the real oc. this was talked about a while back.
unless orgeron can win 10 games this year, he needs to be let go. had a chance to win 10 this year and give himself some breathing room, but he fricked that all up.

you don't know that.
but, I think that turning the ball over in the red zone pretty much kills your offense and can very well cause you to lose games. look at last years florida game. turning the ball over in the red zone is a game killer. so, all sec coaches usually get more conservative in the zone. the sec has some damn top defenses.
so to say O meddles is a huge over simplification. a HC has both the right and duty to not allow an OC to go crazy when the field gets short. imo, Canada just wasn't good enough to design, practice and call appropriate red zone plays. also, a QB is an absolute must; a qb that can place his passes where only the wr has the chance to catch it; a qb that throws the ball accurately because the middle is really crowded the closer to the end zone you get; and finally WR's that can jump and take the ball or act like a db if it's not that accurate.
our offense has a long way to go to be a good red zone team.

This is typical for most contracts and the confidentiality goes both ways. Use some logic he got half of his buyout...why would he settle for half if he was fired without cause?
