Mason Taylor down the left side line was nice.

Made the linebacker look silly and almost housed it. He showed serious athleticism on that play. 6’5 250, can catch, and get the corner. Ok I’ll take it.

Reminded me of that JC Copelan run down the sidelines against Bama, although I refused to say that aloud given how that game turned out lol.

Kid is very good. Had some tough games early, but he’s a true freshman.

He’s going to be our starting TE for at least 2 more years

They had some nicely designed plays to Taylor last night and he made the most of them.

Think he’s related to Kim’s son?

But he isn’t the biggest baby ever born in Louisiana.

I got killed when I said he should be included in the freshman all American list so far. He’s a game changer for us.

Expectations were too high early but I think the coaches have settled him down and now he is settling in. Look out if he keeps improving.

We have some freshman ballers on this team. Impressive considering how late our staff came on board.

Everyone was whining about him getting PT over Bech. Dude is an elite blocker with nice hands and YAC.

Big, fast, Physical, and the hands are improving. All that and we have a couple stud TE recruits coming in next year. Future is looking awesome under this coaching staff

Yeah, gets better every week too. Doesn't look like a freshman anymore. He'll be playing on Sundays eventually like his old man.

Taylor a very good player and he now seems to be settling in after struggling a bit with the size roll he had earlier in the season. But let’s pump the brakes with the Perkins comparisons. Taylor will continue to develop and get better, but Perkins and Campbell are in a class by themselves in this freshman class as far as being ready to play huge rolls from day one.

And his mom is the sister of 7 time pro bowler Zach Thomas (LB for the Dolphins). Mason is definitely swimming in the deep end of the gene pool.
