Well I guess we could play in College Station or Tuscaloosa since they've got nothing going on?
Nah, let's play in the hot, humid sunshine Saturday afternoon in BR.

I’ve always respected Martin. This nonsense will diminish that a bit.

LSU would literally rather play at a neutral site than to give another team home field advantage...

Host sites are determined by the NCAA. I would be surprised if LSU actually has any real say in the matter.

Got any sauces on this

“We’re getting some horrible reports for what the weather is supposed to be like over there,” Martin said.
It could create a sticky situation, especially if the games are delayed by more than a day or so. An if-necessary Game 3 between the Seminoles and Tigers would be played at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, with the winner due in Omaha, Neb., for the College World Series on Wednesday.
“If (a weather system) were to go over there and just settle, I would think that they would have to do something,” Martin said.
Please don't get angry at him for saying this. He is a brilliant head coach and is doing this on purpose. He is making the story about him and not his team. This was a strategic comment used to have everybody talking about what he just said instead of focusing on the big series coming up.
Good move.

Too bad Mike. Your last hoorah will be at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge.
We will do our very best to send you home on Saturday. Oh, bring some sunscreen. Lol.

nothing in there mentions moving it to Tallahassee

When LSU tells them to get lost they would. The NCAA said LSU was a host, they can’t just say duke. You know how much money they are about to make this weekend? They aren’t going to just let them move it

This seems like the perfect place for you to learn that this weekend is a Saturday through Monday best of 3 series.

If weather were actually a legitimate concern the NCAA would easily step in and do what had to be done to get the games played.
It's not rocket surgery. The NCAA wouldn't blow the whole CWS for one school.

The weather looks fine Saturday and Sunday. If there’s a game Monday they may want to think about moving it up to a earlier time slot.

He never mentioned that at all. Apparently you don't need facts to get these guys amped up. Oh well, I'm glad the forecast looks better and I'm sure he does as well. Looking forward to great weekend in BR.
