Legit question, who are all of the guys that are going to turn our worst pitching staff in the SEC into a top half SEC staff?

I think Jay has done a fine job this offseason but there is no way around it, he got sideswiped here by the Paz transfer. My guess is he will have to add 1 more portal P than he planned, but the USC pitcher we got is a similar type arm with better success so far. yeskie has his work cut out but evans, schimidt, Moore, velasquez, Hood provides some hope. Huge offseason for pitcher development.

LSU’s issues were walks and free passes.
The two worst on the team were Rizy and Paz.
They will pitch for the other team next year.

Reagan Ricken averaged a free pass per inning.
Zion Theophilus averaged over a a free pass per inning.
Santiago Garcia averaged over a free pass per inning.
Danny Lachenmayer averaged over a free pass per inning.
Cooper Williams averaged over a free pass per inning.
Ethan Plog averaged over a free pass per inning.
You want all of those guys gone? Oh and also Paz had more SEC innings than every guy that I just listed. So obviously Jay trusted Paz over every single one of those guys. If you wanted Paz gone because of free passes, that’s fine. But if that’s the case, there are several other guys currently on LSU’s roster that you should probably want gone too.

The fact is wd have a long ways to go to get our pitching staff back to where it needs to be to compete in the SEC.
