No reason to take it "easier" on anyone. I will stand by my opinion that Les Miles is better at what he does than Paul Manieri is at what he does.

It's just an opinion.

If it was FACTS...I might have a different opinion.

I'm the idiot...and you are defending the hit and run on 2-0 with a guy who hits into double plays?

How am I the idiot? Were you screaming for Les Miles Job after going 13-1?

HE SHOULD HAVE BUNTED! PERIOD!

Hindsight is 20/20. I never screamed for LM's job. I like him.

The hit and run would have been cheered as a genius-type decision had it worked. Baseball is a game of feel and hunches...IN REAL TIME.

He made what he thought was the right move at the time for his team...in the moment.

Didn't pan out. That's baseball. Those kids aren't superheroes...they are kids.

He went with a hunch and most of his hunches over the years have been the right call.

LSU is still in this and I'll trust his judgement. We are still the best team there.

Take a fricking BP pill and a Valium, BTW.

Les Miles has lost control of late-inning situations.

the two coaches are very comparable both are
above average/really good during regular season, but can't make a adjustments in big post season games.

both have a NC but likely won't win another.

You are assuming its "Hindsight"!

I accurately predicted CPM would let RR's hit and he would hit into a double play instead of bunting.

I was shocked when he squared around on the first 2 pitches.

And I have very credible witnesses.

So...you, a fan watching on TV...somehow feel vindicated and validated on your second guessing of a coach of a team that you claim to support? And then get on a message board, which generally supports the same team, to crow about how much smarter than their coach that you are?

YOU predicted that CPM would do something different that YOU would have done in the same situation?

Yep! I nailed it the first time. You really are an idiot.

Props to you. I don't normally respond to idiots more than once, genius.

Take that Valium, BTW...or several of them.

I remember in 2011 when everyone was bitching at Mainieri for bunting and playing small ball.

This year he has pretty much been letting guys swing away and now some of you retards want to go back to the same small ball shite y'all were bitching at 2 years ago.

Plenty of LSU Fans support LSU Football. Yet BASH Miles.

Not saying I am smarter. I think he does a great job running the program. I just predicted he would make the wrong in game call and I was right. Les Miles usually makes the right calls..his players just don't execute them. i.e.- Mett's 2nd down throw against Clemson.

No..I predicted what PM would do. And I was right.

I just disagree with what I knew he would do.

It wasn't me!

Let me ask you this...Do you think that was the right call? Hit and run vs Bunt?

That's silly.

So questioning why he didn't make the right call (he even admits it) equals wanting to go back to small ball?

Did you even watch this game??

small ball?

I am a fan of the 1985 St. Louis Cardinals and love small ball.

Small ball in baseball is like a good running game in football...not pretty...but wins.

Bernard Hopkins is small ball in boxing!
