Yeah, but I don't think suggesting Coach PM do what most coaches would have done in that situation is wanting to go back to small ball. It's just hoping he puts the runner in scoring position.
Small ball will probably win this tourney though. Power isn't going to do it.

The kids need to watch a game tape and look at what they were swinging at-balls out of strike zone. Time for Eades and Glenn to step up big time and the guys behind them play error free ball. If you have to play small ball to advance a runner to SP, then do it.

Miles is a good coach CPM is a good coach. They have both put together championship caliber programs and kept then near championship caliber.

And if you think having the type of success we have in football is anywhere near as easy as having the type of success we have in baseball, you're a moron. Im not saying that a playoff run is handed to CPM on a silver platter because I know he, his staff and the team work their asses off to set that situation up every year, but it almost is.
