but that move didn’t hurt us, it was 1-1 when he left and we gave up a solo homer to one of the top homer guys in the country. That move didn’t hurt us!

No it didn't. But, he didn't know that when he made the move.

Pulling Marceaux wasn't the reason for the loss. You won't beat a travel ball team with 2 hits

CPM’s move actually would have worked if LSU would have hit better then .072 at the plate!!!

In that case, Zach Arnold wouldn’t have been hurt if Marceaux was pitching the 5th inning.

His reasoning is to save him for Tuesday. You don’t have to agree or like it but that is the reasoning

If he makes that case, I want to hear it. I want to hear him explain why he thought he could take risk tonight for Tuesday.

For the record, pulling Marceaux was not the reason LSU lost this game. Coleman pitched really well.

A lot went wrong.

He said when Dugas went down, the game became unimportant.

It’s great to be concerned Dugas took a lick but it wasn’t like he took a fastball to the face and had the ambulance come out. To say the game became unimportant is a bit dramatic.

Landon Marceaux: "I didn't feel great. I didn’t feel real strong. Coach asked me how I felt, and I told him that. We decided let’s shut it down and not push it too much. Everything’s fine. I’m healthy. Nothing hurts. Just some fatigue my body’s going through right now."

Per Wilson Alexander’s Twitter.
Sounds like it was at least partially Marceaux’s decision

I’ll be shocked if he makes any sort of comment acknowledging that. His ego won’t allow it.

I think he'll come across as defeated. Really interested in his comments.

There is literally a barking dog during his post-game comments.

I said a rational reason.

Think about it. Be super aggressive at the plate in search of a substantial early lead, so he can pull Marceaux early to use him Tuesday in Hoover. It didn't work, but he pulled Marceaux anyway. WHY? It doesn't make sense.

Hopefully Woodward is paying close attention if he does.

This HAD to be the case. It simply wasn't a rational decision.

It's still time.

Then why not start Labus or Hellmers? None of this makes any sense.

Thanks. I was looking at his Twitter earlier and there wasn't anything there. That was my only other thought on any logical reason to take him out. I said being sick, but I guess not feeling good is reasonable enough.

He was sick. Sanford hurting. All this pretty much explains the decisions by PM in the game. But the rant will still bitch
