Tell that to USC, remember them? What about Texas, Florida, Notre Dame?? We gotta start being more realistic. Did we think those championship seasons would go on forever? We wanted Jimbo and he won at FSU but now look at that situation. Sometimes patience is needed.

The fact that etter even having this discussion shows LSU's place currently. Mullen is much more proven than O. Insert Mullen at LSU and he wipes the floor with O.

You people are on some strong dope ! How the hell is Mullen superior to O ?? I'm not taken with O because I think LSU can do better, but I mean all the hell Mullen has done at MSU is lose. And now if he is on the way to Florida, it'll be the same shite, so him going to Florida scares no one. He had another decent season this year, the first since Prescott left and he still lost 4 games. The LSU blow out was because LSU was playing like shite at the beginning of this season with a lot of inexperienced players, and they needed a pep talk from Duke Riley to turn it around because Orgeron and co. didn't really know what to do to turn it around. but Mullen's best seasons have been because of strong QB play, first Prescott and now this kid Fitzgerald. Other than that he's been a mediocre to terrible coach since he's been at Miss State.

I like his offensive philosophy, he recruited very well at a school Like MSU. Mullen knows how to develop QB's field tough defenses. I think he will be successful at Florida with the resources compared to MSU
