This is actually true and it works in both directions.

Heard a different national media person make the opposite point that it’s just the new landscape that a team could lose a couple games to Ole Miss and Vandy and still be a playoff team.

They really just don’t know the details.

The only thing keeping Kelly as head coach is his buyout. I think he has lost the fans. I think he has lost the admin.

I don't think you can fire a guy and pay him 58 million for losing to 3 top ten teams. I don't want the dude here either but I don't want to have anything to do with college sports if thats gonna be the reality.

Its not the 2 losses. Look at how they have played i the wins against inferior competition. Look at the talent advantage he had over the teams he lost to. Look at the mismanagement of coaching hjres... Look at the lack of work ethic...

It would take something extraordinary embarrassing for him to be fired this season.

Until Bruce Feldman or Pete Thamel report it, it's all speculation.

Agreed.

But maybe wall-to-wall embarrassing news coverage will light a fire in BK.

Didn't know Kelly played QB, or OL or TE.

Maybe that explains why Perkins was so awful last week though.

Just for a second, lets pretend his name is "Orgeron" with his record and the outlook for next season. would that be different?
Half the team's stars will be gone. Who is going to fork over money to refill the Roster, after watching Kelly's team for four years.
With the predicted weather, coupled with the teams performance this season, if we get behind early, the stadium will be half full at halftime.

For all of you who think if BK loses this game and gets canned, this will turn out like 2015 when Les was about to get fired and then beat A@M.Same thing is going to happen Saturday A@M will choke .

Bro I agree but we very well could lose five games this year to all top ten teams that make the playoffs. We could be the 11th best team in the country and not win 8 games. Thats the reality in the SEC this year. No, they haven't looked great, have underachieved offensively and its been a disappointing year but we gotta be some what rational about the situation. We are talking about spending 70 million to fire the coach and his whole staff and investing another 80 million in his replacement.

Can’t pretend. One is a HOF coach and the winningest coach in the game today. One has played in 2 playoffs and in a BCS championship. The other had 1 great team for 1 year.
There isn’t a comparison from a consistency perspective.

If everyone thought LSU was going to loss the spread wouldn't be +2.5

If only Nuss suddenly progressed to his best this weekend and carried it the rest of this season.

From a coaching standpoint most of this year has been extraordinarily embarrassing.
