I advocated for this back when Les and Cam were here and we had a running back coach position open up. He was working for Herman at the time and I thought he could come and ultimately do what Brady did for Ensminger and O.
At this point we have better options. Major hasn’t quite found his niche and there’s no need for us to be crossing our fingers and hoping this stop will finally be a winner for him.

anybody whose parents would name him after a former Alabama running back would be worth a shite at LSU. He didn't want to play football here, he shouldn't be able to coach here either.

I absolutely would not want to hire Major but this is retarded. O literally came to play ball here, decided he didn’t want to and left. I for one would not be turning down quality coaches because once upon a time they chose to play somewhere else. Again, Major ain’t our guy but if some up and comer came along who shunned us as a recruit 20 years ago I’d let bygones be bygones.
