I’m surprised he didn’t say he was guaranteed by Fontenot that he would get the K.

Posting an opinion and pretending it’s a fact it’s a debate skill. Lester is a clown.

I’m not saying I agree with him (I do occasionally but not often), but his contribution to the site is positive.

He’s an interesting character who does create discussion, regardless of whether or not he’s wrong in any given instance.

I’ve witnessed a few times where Lester was right and everyone else was wrong. Not many, but a couple.

He initiates good dialogue, which makes the site more fun whether he’s right or wrong.

He’s generally fairly respectful of others, although he seems to have a hard-on for Fun Bunch on Pels Talk. FB takes it in stride so that’s a non-issue.

I usually disagree with him. But his contributions to this community are positive. TigerDroppings is better with Lester as a regular poster. This coming from someone who disagrees with 80-85% of what he says.

Batting average drops some .200 pts when you have two strikes on you according to mlb data

That doesn’t make any sense. So you’re saying that a guy with a batting average of .320 has a .120 chance of getting a hit with two strikes on him?

That’s bullshite. I’ve seen guys with 3-0 counts end up striking out and I’ve seen numerous guys with 0-2, 1-2, 2-2 and full counts get hits. Yes, a 2-0 and 3-1 count is a hitters count, but 2 strikes doesn’t mean shite to good hitters.

I’m saying on average mlb’ers hit .345 in an 0-0 count

That drops to .157 in an 0-2 count

.166 1-2
.183 2-2

They had already struck him out twice on the weekend, and Fontenot was dealing, I think he struck out 11 in 6 innings. I’m fine with it.

Had he walked him y’all would be critical because he “gave up” on Fontenot. Y’all would bitch regardless. Par for the course for the retards on the Rant.

You think people would be bitching about walking their best hitter when it’s a meaningless run?

Was the decision to pitch to their best player a bad one?

Don’t say yes, because your “point” just became whining.

I would say no, because I have faith in Devin Fontenot, which IS my point.

vs. their 3rd round draft pick who was on a tear, after Fontenot had doubled up his career pitch total?

That's a stupid point.
