I thought you said he wouldnt be back out there anytime soon,
I did. That is my opinion of what Mainieri will decide after thinking about it for 24 hours.

Kevin Berry leads the nation in doucher runs given up. That is when you inherit runners and allow them to score thus destroying your teammates ERA.

He did not come out as being confident of our team right now. He gotta put confidence in those kids. Hopefully it is the finals coming and we will be back to our old

play McMullen in RF, and put Foster at DH,

I thought McMullen was not as good of a fielder as Foster. I guess I'm wrong..?? I just wasn't impressed by McMullen in right field at all.. but he sure can hit.

Maybe I missed something but what was the lineup when we were punking Moo State, Arkansas, Kentucky, etc. Defense and hitting seemed pretty solid then and our Sunday pitching wasn't even at its best.

I would put some of this on Mainieri too. I thought there were some major managing mistakes made in Gm 2 with South Carolina - definitely a winnable game. Super tight game and LSU gets like 4 lead-off guys on and doesn't try to bunt them over? Are you kidding me? Plus all the lineup changes recently.

Cotton? 1 blown save and 1 losing outing in the last 2 weeks. Can't have that.

Also, McCune Sunday?? Seriously?? Why pull Glenn after his best outings?

I'm not casting dispersions on our super frosh, but didn't a few of the recent defensive errors happen at SS?

Throw in the recent struggles from Eads and you can see how they've begun to lose their dominance.

Basically the same, except both Katz and Bregman were hitting over .400 and Laird was hitting over .300.

Que? Other than RF and DH, the starters have been the same since opening day.

The blown save was a freak thing, Bama player guessed right and jacked a 3 run bomb, shite happens. The loss started with an error.

More like outing, as in one. Everyone was really excited about McCune taking over for Glenn before that.
