Good thing we have so much depth on the OL

It seems like a decade since we had any depth there

My guess it's some kind of academic honor code violation.

That would make more sense.

If it were simply not going to class, seems like someone in the athletic department should be keeping track of who's going to class and who isn't.

I guess Campbell will take his place? Or is there a TF capable of starting?

Campbell for sure, if we could take a hit anywhere it was at guard. Brumfield and Campbell will both be beasts, very very highly recruited and regarded coming out of high school. Brumfield has waited 3 years to start and Campbell played some last year as a true freshman.

you have to be extremely stupid or lazy to not stay academically eligible, they make it incredibly easy

I was in his speech class this summer along with Andre Anthony and Maea never came to the class and didn’t drop it so I’m assuming this is the cause of his grade troubles.

Maea is living my reoccurring dream.

This one's on the Academic Center for Student Athletes

I disagree. How much power does the Academic Center have? An athlete misses class, they tell the coaching staff. So any potential reprimand would come from there and clearly there was zero since he continued to miss class. However, this is all on Maea for being irresponsible.

It's on him. Not the people who were no doubt trying to help him.

Campbell slides into Teuhema's spot, but after that it gets dicey. Is Clapp now the first option at guard if there's an injury? With Cushenberry coming in at C, then?

Decalus can play inside or outside, right? Seems like he's going to be seeing the field sooner rather than later.

Exhibit A as to why college athletes should not be paid.

Obviously Teuhema deserves the blame. It's his responsibility. But we heard nothing about any academic problems with him before a couple of days ago. Wonder if someone at the coaching staff was asleep at the wheel here?

It'd be a little difficult to believe that grade problems just began with him. How do you let it get this far, this close to football season?

This would be my guess. It sounded like they really liked Cushenberry at Center in the spring.
